My other podcast, Dark Meat: Music For Depressives gets even worse numbers than this one. This weekend I did two things that I consider shameless, low and surprisingly effective.

Just as if it were a sweeps month, I did an episode about sex. I always play songs around a theme, but it’s often “food” or “alienation.” This week’s show was called SEXY SEXY SEX and featured SUGAR WALLS, SEXUAL HEALING, J T’AIME (ME NON PLUS), and others of that like. I played it twice in my iPod and the poor thing is exhausted.

To build on that, just now I cross-promoted the show in another blog… oh yeah, this one.

To demonstrate how powerful repeating the word SEX as often as possible in your internet postings can be, my circulations figures are up 20 percent from the previous day. ‘Nuff Said.
