The Charlie Sheen juggernaut is busy right now. When the team of lawyers and agents is done, it is likely that Charlie Sheen will be the highest paid comedy star in television. According to sources quoted in the Hollywood Reporter, $350,000 bones per episode will go to the TERMINAL VELOCITY star. Oh sorry, that was the movie about skydivers. Sheen currently stars in 2 AND A HALF MEN.

If you dislike Sheen, or the show, you may take some consolation that there are no records being broken here. Ray Romano was making almost $2,000,000 in the final season of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND. At those prices, they better.

The Sheen contract negotiation began last July, shortly after Warner Brothers negotiated very nice terms for syndication for the show. Always get the talent in place first!
