HALO Loses A Little Lustre

A multi-zillion dollar adaptation of the popular video game HALO is being put on hold, the victim not of an alien attack, but a failure of dealmaking.
The film is a co-production of Peter (KING KONG) Jackson and Paul (MICROSOFT) Allen, and had enjoyed the backing of both Universal and 20th Century Fox when the budget was projected to be around $250 million. The studios pulled out when the figure climbed to around $380 million. And even then they might have stayed in. According to the BBC the sticking point was not the cost itself but Jackson and Microsoft’s profit participation.
Studios are increasingly walking away from the big projects because they don’t like the way the deals are structured. Usually these projects have involved Jim Carrey, but not always.
If the project doesn’t take off, instead of buying the DVD of Halo and watching it on your big screen TV, you may be forced to buy the game, put it in your X-Box and play it on your big screen TV. And Peter Jackson is completely out of the loop! Paul Allen could probably finance the thing himself with sofa change, but he’s smart enough to never invest in showbiz. His money is going into private space flight instead.

I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL THE HALO MOVIE IS GOING TO COME OUT>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I just hope that they get it right and not make a total fuel out of master chief and all of the other characters!!

they will sure that they will make three episodes for halo because they have halo 1 , 2 & 3 so why they dont put three episodes for halo and i will not wwait for halo3 i will buy it as soon as possible when they release it in kuwait!!!^_^

I absoltaly love Halo! I cant wait 4 the movie to come out! Ill propably dress up 4 it! If you see a buck-toothed master chief, that would be me.

Well you know what alot of people are in love with halo but then againalot of people
are in love with sonic so im thinking should i make a Halo Vr. Sonic The Game?
