Singing Dolphins Could Save NBC Even More!
I’m brainstorming on behalf of flop-sweat-soaked executive Bob Wright, chairman of NBC. I ran across this story on the Australian Broadcasting Company’s news site: dolphins at Disney’s Epcot Center in Florida have been taught, through trial, error and tasty fish, to sing the Batman Theme.
Do you have any idea what an hour of studio musician time costs? NBC could take their CNBC studios, recently abandoned in New Jersey, and convert them to a tank. Then they farm out all their theme and interstitial music to trained dolphins! They work for fish and beach balls, they don’t flake on you, and they don’t even understand the concept of royalties.
Bob, I am going to expect a consulting fee. Consider it an investment.
