What popular Us Weekly gossip columnist has been found guilty of soliciting sex with minors? Our source, whose initials are “A.P.” says it’s Timothy McDarrah!

McDarrah, who had also worked at the ultra-swanky Las Vegas Sun:

…was charged with one count of using a computer and the Internet “to attempt to entice, induce, coerce and persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity,” according to an indictment handed up in November 2005. He was convicted Dec. 20 after an eight-day jury trial in New York, and faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, according to court documents.

Ouch! Sometimes those FBI stings really… sting! What will McDarrah be wearing for the next five years? Most fashion experts agree that it will be a monochrome jumpsuit!

To date no one has been able to work Tom Cruise or Britney Spears into this story! So far!
