Apropos of the show - I read story about Edward Norton being cast as Bruce Banner in the upcoming INCREDIBLE HULK sequel, replacing Eric Bana. So what’s Bana up to then? He’s going to be playing the lead in THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE, based on the popular novel about a Chicago librarian whose weird genetic makeup causes him to travel through time when he’s stressed or under pressure. This affects his marriage, because he disappears for weeks at a time and when he comes back he’s 5 years younger.

I can’t say I read the novel, but I can say I heard it on tape. And I can also say that Eric Bana is precisely the wrong choice for the role of this librarian. The part should be played by someone smaller, handsome but quirky. He’s more brain than brawn. He’s a little unpredictable.

Edward Norton would have been perfect.
