AP reports it was a hoax, designed to call attention to the shortage of available kidneys. Damn them and their activist ways! Now I have to go back and revise two posts, PLUS offer a correction on next week’s podcast.

But the real body blow here is to my cynicism. There I was, believing that things had really gotten that bad in the reality TV arena. Can you imagine my disappointment that they are only as bad as they are? That it might be another few years before we get a live prisoner hunt on national TV? I had PLANS, man! I was gonna rent a bigscreen and everything!

Still, we all know it isn’t a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. If when isn’t now yet, then it will be now then, and then will be soon. If I’m right. Okay, I better lay down for a while.
